Page title: Terms | fiuto.ai Meta description: Terms for Fiuto accounts, studies, respondents, AI features, plans, and billing.
At a glance
Fiuto helps you create studies, launch share links, collect responses, and interpret the results. These terms govern that use.
- You own your studies: Your prompts, blocks, media, launches, and response data remain yours, subject to the processing needed to run Fiuto.
- You recruit respondents: Fiuto hosts studies and results. It is not a research panel, recruiter, or respondent marketplace.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI output: AI output can be useful, incomplete, or wrong. You remain responsible for the judgement applied to it.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply when you use Fiuto’s public website, the product at app.fiuto.ai, and Fiuto’s hosted MCP surface at mcp.fiuto.ai. The product is operated by Fiuto Ltd, registered in England & Wales under company number 17212337, with its registered office at Impact Brixton, 17A Electric Lane, London SW9 8LA, United Kingdom.
You need an account to create studies, launch them, view results, connect integrations, use AI features, manage billing, or use API and MCP tokens. You are responsible for keeping your login, device, and tokens secure.
Fiuto is intended for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 to hold an account, and by using Fiuto you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms, whether for yourself or for an organisation you represent.
Studies, respondents, and your responsibilities
Fiuto is a study authoring and hosting product. You create the study, choose the blocks, write the respondent-facing wording, launch the link, and decide where to share it. Fiuto does not recruit respondents, supply a panel, screen respondents for you, or guarantee response volume or quality.
- You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, safety, and fairness of the studies you create.
- You must give respondents any notices, consent wording, incentive terms, or research disclosures your use case requires.
- You must not ask respondents for passwords, secrets, unnecessary special-category data, payment-card details, or anything you do not have a lawful basis to collect.
- You are responsible for any recruitment channel, incentive provider, panel, or audience you use outside Fiuto.
- You must not use Fiuto to mislead respondents, impersonate others, run unlawful surveillance, or collect data in a way that would surprise a reasonable participant.
Respondent answers, study content, and uploaded media belong to the study owner. Fiuto may process them to provide the product, secure the product, debug issues, provide exports, and operate AI analysis when requested.
Intellectual property
Fiuto Ltd owns the Fiuto product, including its software, design, and branding. These terms grant you a limited right to use the product; they do not transfer any Fiuto intellectual property to you. Your studies, content, media, and response data remain yours.
Data protection
How Fiuto handles personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary, Fiuto Ltd is the controller for account and website data, and acts as a processor on the study owner’s instructions for respondent data. As the study owner, you are the controller for the respondent data you collect, and you are responsible for giving respondents the notices and lawful basis your use case requires and for handling their data protection requests.
Plans, credits, and billing
Fiuto has Free, Core, Pro, and internal Teams tiers. Some limits are plan-based, including live studies, response caps, upload limits, advanced research methods, exports, and recording features. AI features are metered with credits rather than tied to a minimum paid tier.
Paid plans, credit packs, billing addresses, and payment methods are handled through Stripe Checkout and Stripe billing surfaces. Card details do not pass through Fiuto’s servers. When paid billing is active, any charge, renewal, cancellation, or payment-method change is handled through Stripe or Fiuto’s billing flow.
Plan names, prices, quotas, and credit amounts can change as the product matures. If a change affects an active paid subscription, we will handle it through the billing flow or account notice appropriate to that change.
AI features
Fiuto uses AI to help draft studies, interpret product context, run agent workflows, and analyse study responses. AI output is not a promise, professional advice, research certification, or a substitute for reviewing what goes live.
- You are responsible for checking AI-generated study plans, questions, summaries, and reports before using or sharing them.
- AI features can process sensitive study context, connector data you ask Fiuto to fetch, and respondent free-text answers when you request analysis.
- Do not paste secrets, regulated data, or unnecessary personal data into prompts unless you are comfortable with that data being processed by Fiuto’s AI provider.
- AI availability depends on third-party model providers, usage credits, and infrastructure outside Fiuto’s direct control.
Connected apps and API access
If you connect a third-party account, such as Notion, Slack, GitHub, Linear, Amplitude, PostHog, or another supported source, you confirm that you have permission to connect it and you authorize Fiuto to read the data needed for the workflow you start.
You are responsible for any tokens, API keys, MCP clients, or automations you create. You should rotate or revoke access when it is no longer needed.
Acceptable use
You must not use Fiuto to:
- break the law, violate rights, or bypass consent requirements;
- attack, probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with Fiuto or its providers;
- upload malware, abusive content, unlawful content, or content you do not have rights to use;
- send spam, run deceptive studies, impersonate people or organisations, or manipulate respondents;
- attempt to access another user’s account, studies, responses, recordings, billing data, or integrations;
- resell Fiuto as a panel, recruitment service, or white-labelled product without written permission.
Availability and changes
Fiuto is in open alpha. The product will change. Features may be added, removed, renamed, gated, or rebuilt as we learn what helps teams do better research.
We do not provide a service-level agreement unless a separate written agreement says so. Fiuto depends on services such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe, PostHog, Anthropic, Resend, and user-directed integrations. If those services are unavailable, degraded, or change their own APIs, parts of Fiuto may be unavailable or slower than usual.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Fiuto at any time. Account users can request account deletion from Settings, under Data & deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is abusive, unlawful, risky to respondents, harmful to Fiuto, or in serious breach of these terms.
Liability
Fiuto is provided on an as-is and as-available basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fiuto is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost research opportunities, respondent recruitment failures, data you choose to collect, AI output you choose to rely on, or third-party service interruptions.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
General terms
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Fiuto for the product. You may not assign these terms without Fiuto’s consent; Fiuto may assign them in connection with a reorganisation, merger, or sale.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product, processors, and legal posture mature. When a change is material, we will post the updated terms and, where appropriate, notify account users. Continued use of Fiuto after an update means the updated terms apply.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Fiuto. Questions go to [email protected], or by post to Fiuto Ltd, Impact Brixton, 17A Electric Lane, London SW9 8LA, United Kingdom.
