Rating scale questions
How much, on a scale?
People answer with one number on a fixed scale, so opinions become comparable.
Build a rating scale questionSatisfaction surveys
A satisfaction survey asks people how your product feels to use, on a fixed scale and in their own words, so you get a number you can track and the reasons that move it.Paste your URL and Fiuto builds a free satisfaction survey for you in minutes. No research experience required.
A preview player for a satisfaction survey. It steps through the four blocks a respondent sees, and is paused on the third: the scale question itself, with one point already picked and the Fiuto panel floating over the scale holding the question.
A satisfaction survey asks people to rate how a product, a feature, or an interaction felt, on a fixed scale, and then to say why. The scale gives you a number you can compare across time and across groups. The reason gives you something you can act on. Most surveys go wrong by collecting only the first.
The standard scores each answer a different question. NPS asks how likely someone is to recommend you, and tracks loyalty. CSAT asks how satisfied someone was with one interaction. Customer effort score asks how hard a task was. SUS asks ten statements about usability and turns them into one benchmark score. Fiuto has a template for each, with the follow-up question built in.
The result is a score you can put on a chart, and underneath it the handful of reasons that explain it, grouped and quoted. That is what turns a satisfaction number from a vanity metric into the next thing to fix.
When to run oneRun one after a launch, after a support interaction, or on a regular cadence so the score has something to be compared with.
The whole loop, from a blank study to a readout, with nothing to learn first.
Fiuto writes the study
Paste your URL and say what you want to measure. Fiuto drafts the survey from the matching template, NPS, CSAT, effort score, or SUS, with the follow-up question that asks why. You review the draft before anything launches.
AI testers go first
AI testers work through the survey straight away, so you can check the questions read well and the scale makes sense before real users see it.
Real people, recruited or your own
Share the link with your customers after a launch or an interaction, or describe the audience you need and Fiuto recruits it for you. Every run is labelled with who answered it.
Fiuto reads the results back
The score, how it splits across people, the reasons grouped with the quotes behind them, and a takeaway. Findings, a readout, and a deck you can share with the team.
Two of the 13 methods Fiuto runs. Each page opens on a URL field, so you can start from the method instead.

Build a surveyA satisfaction survey asks people to rate how a product, feature, or interaction felt on a fixed scale, then to say why, so you get a number you can track and the reasons that move it.
NPS asks how likely someone is to recommend you and tracks loyalty. CSAT asks how satisfied someone was with one interaction. CES, the customer effort score, asks how hard a task was. SUS, the System Usability Scale, asks ten statements about usability and turns them into one benchmark score.
Match the question to the moment. CSAT or effort score after a single interaction, NPS on a regular cadence to track loyalty, SUS when you want a usability benchmark to compare against later. Fiuto has a template for each.
No. Paste your URL and say what you want to measure, and Fiuto writes the survey, runs it with AI testers, recruits real people if you want them, and reads the results back into findings. You review each step before it launches.
Yes. Satisfaction surveys usually go to your own customers, and you share the link with them. When you need an outside read, describe the audience and Fiuto recruits a matched panel for you. The two kinds of run stay labelled separately.
Enough to see the score settle. A few dozen answers from your actual users usually give a stable number and a clear set of reasons. More answers sharpen the score; they do not change the method.
Yes. Every template is a starting point. Add multiple choice, open text, or rating questions before you launch, or ask Fiuto to draft them for you.
