Landing page testing

Find out what your page says in five seconds

Landing page testing starts with a five-second test: people see your page for five seconds, then say what it does, who it is for, and where they would click.Paste your URL and Fiuto builds a free landing page test for you in minutes. No research experience required.

A preview player for a landing page test. It steps through the four blocks a respondent sees, and is paused on the third: the landing page shown with a countdown running, before the recall questions appear.

What is landing page testing?

Landing page testing puts your page in front of people who have never seen it and measures what they understand, what they notice, and what they would do next. The page has one job, to make a stranger understand the offer and act on it, and the test checks whether it does that job before you pay to send traffic to it.

It usually combines a few short methods. A five-second test shows what the page says at a glance: what people think the product does and who it is for. A first-click or heatmap test shows where the eye and the cursor go, so you learn whether the call to action is where people look. A short set of questions catches what felt unclear or hard to believe.

The result is the gap between what you meant the page to say and what people actually took from it, with the headline, the section, or the button that caused it. That is the fix that moves conversion, and it costs a few minutes to find.

When to run oneRun one before a campaign sends traffic to the page, or when visits are up and signups are not.

How Fiuto runs it for you

The whole loop, from a blank study to a readout, with nothing to learn first.

01

Fiuto writes the study

Paste your URL. Fiuto reads the page and drafts a five-second test, a first-click task on the call to action, and a couple of questions about clarity and trust. You review the draft before anything launches.

02

AI testers go first

AI testers look at the page straight away and say what they took from it, so you have a first read on the message within minutes and can tighten the study before real people see it.

03

Real people, recruited or your own

Describe the visitor you need and Fiuto recruits them for you, or share the link with your waitlist and community. Every run is labelled with who answered it.

04

Fiuto reads the results back

What people remembered, where they clicked first, how clear and trustworthy the page felt, and a takeaway with the quotes behind it. Findings, a readout, and a deck you can share.

The methods behind it

Three of the 13 methods Fiuto runs. Each page opens on a URL field, so you can start from the method instead.

Frequently asked questions

01What is landing page testing?

Landing page testing shows your page to people who have never seen it and measures what they understand, what they notice first, and what they would do next, so you can fix the message before you pay to send traffic to it.

02Which method should I use to test a landing page?

Start with a five-second test for the message, add a first-click test on the call to action, and finish with a short question on what felt unclear. Fiuto drafts that sequence when it builds a landing page test.

03Can I test a landing page before it is live?

Yes. A screenshot or a design file is enough for a five-second test, a first-click test, or a heatmap. Once the page is live, a live website test lets people use it for real.

04Do I need research experience to test a landing page?

No. Paste your URL and Fiuto writes the study, runs it with AI testers, recruits real people if you want them, and reads the results back into findings. You review each step before it launches.

05Does Fiuto recruit people to test my landing page?

Yes. Describe the visitor you need and Fiuto recruits a matched panel for you. You can also share the study link with your own waitlist or community, and the two kinds of run stay labelled separately.

06How many people do I need to test a landing page?

A small group seeing the same page usually agrees on what it says and where the confusion is. Add more people once you want to confirm a fix rather than find the first problem.

07What is the difference between landing page testing and an A/B test?

An A/B test tells you which of two live pages converts better, once you have enough traffic to tell. Landing page testing tells you why a page is unclear before you have that traffic, so you know what to change and what to test next.
