Before you launch

- Ask people to use the product for a real task before they complete the SUS. It measures a remembered experience, not a first impression.
- The 10 statements alternate positive and negative on purpose. Don't reorder them.
- Score with the standard formula, not raw averages: for odd-numbered statements use position minus 1, for even-numbered use 5 minus position, then multiply the total by 2.5. Above 80 is excellent, 68 is the median, below 50 is poor.
